					Richard Honaker has been recognized for 30 years as one of Wyoming’s most effective and successful trial and appellate lawyers. Mr. Honaker is one of the few Wyoming trial lawyers who has won multiple acquittals for criminal defendants in first-degree murder cases and also has won multiple judgments and settlements for civil plaintiffs in excess of one million dollars. Mr. Honaker’s first million-dollar recovery occurred in 1990 in a products liability case against Michelin Tire Corporation and Fletcher Enterprises. More recently, Mr. Honaker’s recoveries have included a $1 million wrongful death recovery against a trucking company, a $1 million recovery against an oilfield products manufacturer, a $1.1 million recovery against an auto manufacturer, a $5.1 million recovery in a liquefied petroleum gas case, and recoveries of $2.375 million and $8.625 million in railroad accident cases.

	Mr. Honaker’s legal experience has been diverse, and balanced. In addition to defending major criminal cases, Mr. Honaker has prosecuted criminal activity as an Assistant Attorney General and as a Special Prosecutor. In addition to representing plaintiffs in civil actions, Mr. Honaker has also represented civil defendants, large corporations, and small businesses. In addition to trying cases, Mr. Honaker has been involved in numerous mediations and arbitrations, and he has appeared in more than 50 appellate proceedings.
